BISP and Utility Stores Corporation (USC) start subsidy Scheme
BISP and USC Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s directions have led to the introduction of targeted subsidies for necessities. The goal is to increase public access to five essential commodities at reasonable prices: flour, ghee, sugar, legumes, and rice. Utility stores all around the nation offer a wide range of necessities, including their own brand of pure spices at great prices and good quality.
People who have not yet completed their registration with BISP should go to the Tehsil Offices that are closest to them.
Please be informed that utility stores will no longer provide general subsidies. However, regular customers are unrestricted in their ability to shop at any utility store located across the nation.
The general public can purchase sugar, ghee, flour, lentils, and rice for standard prices that are far less expensive than the going market rates.
بی آئی ایس پی اور یو ایس سی کے وزیر اعظم میاں شہباز شریف کی ہدایات کے نتیجے میں اشیائے ضروریہ کے لیے ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی متعارف کرائی گئی ہے۔ اس کا مقصد پانچ اشیائے ضروریہ یعنی آٹا، گھی، چینی، پھلیاں اور چاول تک عوام کی رسائی میں اضافہ کرنا ہے۔ ملک بھر میں یوٹیلیٹی اسٹورز بہت سی ضروریات پیش کرتے ہیں، جن میں خالص مصالحوں کا اپنا برانڈ بھی شامل ہے جو بہترین قیمتوں اور اچھے معیار پر ہے۔
جن لوگوں نے ابھی تک بی آئی ایس پی کے ساتھ اپنی رجسٹریشن مکمل نہیں کی ہے وہ ان تحصیل دفاتر میں جائیں جو ان کے قریب ترین ہیں۔

Eligibility Criteria for Subsidy 2023
To qualify for financial assistance, a household must be registered with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and have a PMT_40 or lower poverty index score. Registered BISP users must provide their original identity card at the counter while making a transaction in order to get the subsidy.

According to the USC, the adoption of this new system intends to ensure a transparent distribution of subsidized basic goods (rice, ghee, sugar, and other pulses) that benefits deserving people while guarding against the abuse of subsidies. Customers who purchase goods other than those covered by subsidies will not require national identity cards or OTPs, according to the USC.
مالی امداد حاصل کرنے کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ کوئی خاندان بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام (بی آئی ایس پی) کے ساتھ رجسٹرڈ ہو اور اس کا PMT_40 یا غربت کا انڈیکس اسکور کم ہو۔ رجسٹرڈ بی آئی ایس پی صارفین کو سبسڈی حاصل کرنے کے لئے ٹرانزیکشن کرتے وقت کاؤنٹر پر اپنا اصل شناختی کارڈ فراہم کرنا ہوگا۔
آپ یو ایس سی کی ویب سائٹ پر www.usc.org.pk/PMT-score جاکر چیک کرسکتے ہیں کہ آیا آپ سبسڈی کے اہل ہیں یا نہیں۔
یو ایس سی کے مطابق اس نئے نظام کو اپنانے کا مقصد سبسڈی والی بنیادی اشیاء (چاول، گھی، چینی اور دیگر دالوں) کی شفاف تقسیم کو یقینی بنانا ہے جس سے مستحق افراد کو فائدہ پہنچے گا جبکہ سبسڈی کے غلط استعمال سے بچا جا سکے گا۔ یو ایس سی کے مطابق جو صارفین سبسڈی کے علاوہ دیگر سامان خریدتے ہیں انہیں قومی شناختی کارڈ یا او ٹی پی کی ضرورت نہیں ہوگی۔
Subsidy Rate List New Update
The following tariffs will be in effect for the aforementioned goods following the targeted subsidy:
Flour: Rs. 648 for a bag of 10 kg
Ghee: Rs 353/kg
Sugar: Rs. 100 per kilogram.
Rice and pulses: Rs 25 per kilogram of subsidy
سبسڈی ریٹ لسٹ کی نئی اپ ڈیٹ
مندرجہ ذیل محصولات ہدف سبسڈی کے بعد مذکورہ بالا اشیاء کے لئے نافذ العمل ہوں گے:
آٹا: 10 کلو گرام کے تھیلے کی قیمت 648 روپے
گھی: 353 روپے فی کلو
چینی: 100 روپے فی کلو۔
چاول اور دالیں: 25 روپے فی کلو سبسڈی
